Too Many Regional Shows? Everything You Need is All Right Here!
Fort Atkinson, WI (May 18, 2006) - The 3rd Annual INTERNATIONAL Airfield Operations Area (AOA) Expo & Conference, the only show that addresses all disciplines of airfield operations, will be held June 3rd through the 5th, 2007, at the Four Points Sheraton in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The event focuses exclusively on challenges that affect airfield performance such as runway improvement, pavement types, local condition forecasting, ARFF, friction testing, signage, snow removal, lighting, bird strike, perimeter fencing, safety, security, and much more.
"This expo and conference fills a void for operations managers who are provided a forum for their discipline," says Karen Reinhardt, Show Manager. "The AOA exhibitor community experiences productive meetings with qualified buyers from not only North America, but internationally as well. Many surveyed said they received high quality sales leads and plan to return next year."
AOA Expo offers a comprehensive look at all disciplines of the Airfield Operations Area while providing an opportunity for vendors in all aspects of AOA to present, demonstrate and discuss their products and services through both indoor and outdoor exhibits.
The 2006 conference attracted nearly 400 industry professionals interested in sharing their concerns, gaining insight into solving problems and previewing new products and equipment for the airfield operations area. Exclusive to the event is the ability for vendors to showcase large equipment for inspection. "Exhibit space is available inside and outside," says Show Manager Karen Reinhardt. "Decision-makers can not only view products and equipment for their airport, they can test it and gain a better understanding of operations and what can be accomplished."
Educational seminar/sessions held at the 2006 event focused on current issues of concern for managers including airport security and safety, airfield pavement design, construction and maintenance, runway condition reporting, friction testing, snow and ice removal, driver training, disaster/emergency planning, security, access control, and weather management.
"This years International AOA Expo was a terrific event for us. The fact that the show combines relevant industry presentations and actual airfield equipment is a big draw for our customers. And the time of year is ideal as issues and ideas are front of mind for airport operators. We are already looking forward to next year's Expo," says Paul Cudmore, Eagle Integrated Solutions, Inc.
