F.A.Q

  • What are the dates of the event?

September 3, 4, 5, and 6, 2021, we ask that all attendees pack out what you pack in and are gone by 10:00 am on the 6th for staff to begin to clean up.

  • What time does the event start?

The event is open to the public Friday at 12 pm.

  • Is this a family-friendly event?

 Yes! Bring the whole family as there will be dedicated kid’s events sponsored by some of our vendors

  • What kinds of kid-friendly activities will be at the event?

There will be movies, rock painting classes, and a playground

  • Is Alcohol Permitted? 

Yes consumption of alcohol is permitted only within campsites

  • Is this a pet-friendly event?

Yes! Pets are welcome but must be kept on a leash while away from their primary campsite. There are horses in the area so all dogs must be able to act accordingly around both wild and farm animals.

  • What can I expect from this event?

Our mission is to make this an amazing weekend where those who love the outdoors can meet others within the community, learn new skills for adventuring this beautiful province, and have access to the companies that have the tools for the job!

  • What does my day pass include?

A day pass is needed for each person who would like to attend the event only for the day on Saturday & Sunday. It will give you access to all the vendors and scheduled activities planned throughout the day.

  • What does my full weekend camping pass include?

The weekend pass gives you access to camping grounds for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday night. You will be able to see vendors, participate in the activities, and be included in Sunday’s brunch.

  • How do I get to the Medicine Lodge rodeo grounds?

Head West from Edmonton on the Yellow Head Hwy for 237 km. Turn left onto Range Road 213. Travel approximately 1.5 km watching for signs for A.O.A.E.

  • What happens if there is another provincial lockdown?

Vendors and guests will receive a 100% money-back guarantee.

  • What facilities are provided at the rodeo grounds?

There is no power or Wi-Fi, however, there is good cell service with data, access to potable water, and bathroom facilities. There is also firewood that can be purchased.

  • What do I do when I arrive at the event and I am camping for the weekend?

Security will be at the entrance, please show your confirmation email/ticket. You will then be guided to the camping areas. (Maps will be provided)

  • Will there be food services on-site?

Yes! We have food trucks attending the event!​

  • Where is fishing allowed at the event?

Catch and release fishing is scheduled to be available in one of the ponds, as well as the Mcloed River

  • What trail rides are planned?

    •         Beginner: limited

    •         Advanced: limited

  • What payment methods will be available for me to buy from the vendors?

This is a cash-only event unless a specific vendor provides alternatives with you personally.​

  • The weekend pass says per vehicle, are we limited to people per vehicle?

We ask that you limit it to your family/household.

  • What vendors will be at the event?

  • What if the weather turns?

There will be covered areas for those wanting to socialize around the venue, including a covered dance hall and grandstand.​
